Dehydrated Banana Chips

Like pineapple chips, bananas take a long time to dehydrate. They aren’t as moist as pineapples, but they have a thicker texture and are more dense. This is why they too, can take up to 24 hours for dehydration.

Peel 4 to 5 bananas, cut them into thin slices and spread evenly on the dehydrating trays, making sure none overlap on the other. Set your dehydrator on medium heat, and dehydrate overnight.

Halfway through the dehydrating process!

Bananas can take 12 hours for dehydration or up to 24, depending on how thick you cut the pieces. You will know when they are done when they have a golden brown texture, and a crunchy. If they are leathery or rubbery in texture, they are not done yet, people!

Once they are done, put in a bowl, or ziplock bag as picture above, and eat, eat, eat!
